These include scuba-diving, desert safaris,windsurfing. It is renowned worldwide for having some of the world's top diving sites. One of the great surprises for tourists is the number of interesting archaeological and historical landmarks that are in Hurghada. Which include the monasteries of St. Paul and St. Anthony. However, if looking for something really impressive, then you must visit and see the Mons Claudianus, an ancient Roman site that was used for more than 2 centuries. Other landmarks include the Anfish Mountain, with a breathtaking view of the town centre and the Red Sea.

Most restaurants and other food outlets in Hurghada are open from midday to midnight, but there are cafes that open as early as 7am too.

Hurhada has exciting nightlife, which includes clubs Hed Kandi Beach Bar and Ministry of Sound Egypt. The range of entertainment options is amazing. The newly opened Marina Boulevard boasts 15 restaurants that cater to various specialties, 80 shops and 7 bars.
